Point Pelee is one of Canada's smallest, but every year almost 400 000 people visit it every year. Point Pelee is mainly popular for bird watching, but people also visit to bike, canoe, kayak, fish, picnic swim, camp, ice-skate, and cross country ski. Point Pelee is open all year around. A Festival of Birds takes place mainly during May and bird watchers are offered special guided hikes, bird watching seminars, and birding trails. Many people visit to see the monarch butterfly migrate, when they are heading south. There are many things to do at Point Pelee, all fun and amusing.
